I've been gaining weight the whole time I have been in my relationship with Micheal. They say it naturally happens with couples over time. With me it maybe was a little worse considering my love of chick-fil-a and my hate of the gym. That has turned around though. I've had my times where I got more aware of health and weight. Times when I dieted really well and worked out and lost weight, but it has always seemed to creep back on slowly. This time around I want to be different. I am spending more time in the gym and I am getting where it's what I look forward to everyday. I feel better. I have more energy. I get to eat some maybe not so good for me food, but I'm burning it off AND coming in under my calorie goal for the day. It's not that hard, it is just all about making better choices. Trust me it's hard on the other side of the pastry case at work. Those cinnamon swirl coffee cakes and petite vanilla scones are always calling my name and I have to refuse if I want to see results.
So here it is. I want to make things official and hope that it helps to keep me accountable by putting it out there. Micheal and I measured and weighed in on January 1st and here is what my official stats were:
Arms: L 14 1/4" R 14 1/4"
Waist: 44"
Hips: 46"
Legs: L 24 1/2" R 24 1/4"
Total Inches: 168
Weight: 192
Body Fat: 36%
Micheal didn't want to add my bust meaurment into the mix but I did so here it is:
Chest: 44 1/2"
As of today 1/21/2011 I am down 4.4 lbs to 187.8 so that to me is a success so far! I hope to put a picture up in my next post I just have to get it taken first.
